On August 21, the “Ecological Joint Operation” activity, which was organized by ZEHO ECO and Natural Exploration Camp, ended with the joy of children who were curious about nature.

The Nature Architect
The theme of the second phase of the “Ecological Joint Operation” series of courses by ZEHO ECO and Nature Exploration Camp is “The Nature Architect”. It allows children to bring their imagination and interest into play through collective creation combined with the characteristics of garden layout, leading them to start a meaningful “Garden engineer” career experience, and helping teenagers make career choices in the future.
Plant science research · 15 species of plant search - children’s first challenge is to know a variety of plants and complete the “nine house grid”. Even if they are not proficient in writing, they have to use pinyin and drawing to replace them. The children’s enthusiasm for rushing to complete them one by one is still more intense than the sun in midsummer. The observation ability to get in close contact with plants and the thinking ability to grow up in the designer’s explanation are all gradually growing up in letting children understand the plants. Next time we meet, the children will recognize them!
Map treasure hunting · finding career tools through labor - the second activity requires children to find out the burial place of “treasures” from the flowering garden according to the description of the treasure map. It is also a concentrated exercise of observation and action. With the order of the teaching assistant, the children scrambled to set off - both the “force faction” that put speed first and looked for, and the “intelligence faction” that inspected the map and hit every target without fail. Who is the excellent “treasure hunter” who has found the most treasures?
Fantastic ideas · drawing the ideal garden in your heart - After the lunch break, the “treasure” found finally appeared. It turned out that they were the best friends of ecological designers. Parallel ruler and legend paper are the most commonly used drawing tools. With their help, the ideal natural landscape flows from the pen tips of children who love painting. Imagination, action and empathy are also cultivated during drawing and sharing.
Construction experience · be a small constructor - under the leadership of the designer, children become their ideal engineers. Setting out, measuring, simple and interesting work experience, in which children not only took the first step of building a beautiful nature but also exercised their action power in the professional experience of personal practice, and further embodied their future ideas.
The first phase of the “Ecological Joint Operation” activity has ended, but the children’s journey of getting close to nature, protecting nature and building nature has no end.
