The National Engineering Laboratory, as China's first national engineering laboratory in the field of lake environmental protection, is guided by the "Two Mountains" theory. It not only serves as a "backbone" of scientific and technological support for lake protection, but also builds a complete chain from basic research to technology application and industrialization through deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application. Since joining the laboratory's board of directors in 2017, ZEHO ECO has been dedicated to promoting and supporting the application and industrialization of the laboratory's technological achievements. The company has successfully transformed several technological breakthroughs into real-world projects, contributing to lake management with its corporate capabilities.

At this meeting, the laboratory was officially renamed the "National Engineering Center for Lake Pollution Control and Ecological Restoration," and the list of the second board of directors and technical committee members was announced. ZEHO ECO's Chairman Zhang Yijun was appointed to the board of directors, and Senior Engineer Zhou Ying became a member of the technical committee. This signifies that ZEHO ECO's expertise in the field of lake management has gained further recognition in the industry.
The meeting emphasized that, given the complex challenges and urgent demands in lake water environment management, it is necessary to integrate various resources and drive key technological breakthroughs through an integrated industry-academia-research-application model. This approach will foster digital technology innovation and create exemplary projects for lake management. Zhang Huipeng stated at the meeting that ZEHO ECO is actively responding to this call by continuously increasing R&D investment. Through strategic partnerships with companies like Zhipu AI, Infinigence, and Infrawaves, ZEHO ECO is actively promoting the innovative application of AI large models in the ecological and environmental sectors. Utilizing advanced technologies such as numerical tracing and hydrological and water quality monitoring, the company aims to provide scientific decision support for water environment management projects.
Looking ahead, ZEHO ECO will use the National Engineering Laboratory as a platform to continue strengthening cooperation and exchange with various stakeholders. The company will leverage its strengths in technological innovation and engineering practice to actively promote the transformation and application of technological achievements.
